Thanks Jerry! I didn't even know we were live until a few minutes ago - just checked my email and had a message from Crowd Supply saying "We've launched"!
Subject: Inquiry Regarding Expansion Port Capabilities for ESP32 ZX Spectrum
Dear Chris Greening,
I hope this message finds you well. Congratulations on the next steps forward with this exciting project which I admire very fondly. My name is Matthew Millais Gray (matthewmillaisgray@gmail.com), I have written before as things progressed in hopes to encourage you and show support. I am reaching out now regarding your innovative work on this Single Board ESP32 ZX Spectrum. I have a particular curiosity about the capabilities of the expansion port. Specifically, I am wondering if it could potentially support a LoRa messenger service that would function effectively during Internet blackouts. My technical ability is somewhat limited and I defer to persons such as yourself who are better equipped to be in the know. My vision for this feature would involve accessing a catalogue of essential data files from individuals worldwide, which could be invaluable in emergency situations. I fully appreciate the simplicity and elegance of the core design you’ve created and want to assure you that I respect this foundational aspect. However, I believe that incorporating this additional functionality as an option could greatly enhance the utility and appeal of the device, especially in light of current concerns surrounding Internet reliability and preparedness. I am about to attend a meeting in 24 hours where this topic aligns closely with our organizational priorities, and I thought your insights could be incredibly valuable. The organization logo involves a twin rainbow- so I am wondering if there is some destiny here or something to investigate. If my inquiry seems overly ambitious (or nuts), I completely understand and appreciate your consideration nonetheless. Thank you for your time, and I look forward to your thoughts should you have opportunity. Best wishes and hope for your success as doors of opportunity present themselves, Matthew Millais Gray
I pledged for one (for now). I am so super happy you got to this point! Congratulations!
As they say "you da man!"
FINALLY I will get the Sinclair I wanted but never bought when I should have... but the upside is that I get this improved version!
Awesome Chris. I've already pledged support. I hope you reach the goal quickly.
