Good day Chris. Your work/play is something that continues to inspire me. Thank you for your email and spreading your enthusiasm and joy. I can appreciate why you took this along with you with your visit to family.

Chris- I am curious if this can-

1. incorporate LO-RA messenging/communications perhaps with an add on module?

2. have an option of more minimal print to say functional aesthetic so tactile keyboard switches could be installed?

3. be able to adapt to make available a functional ZX48K IO interface?

If I am getting too carried away imaginatively I apologize. My query is not intended to tie you up with engineering complications. I see the genius of conservative yet functional design. As this is, I believe your present accomplishment is an excellent project and I am so pleased someone such as yourself has done this.

Best wishes on your activities and ventures-

Love the creativity!

3 - could be done via the QWIIC connectors which will do I2C - I've already played around with having the ESP32 sending the keystrokes over I2C to a Pi Pico. So you could send them to pretty much any device that supports I2C - which could be something that simulates a ZX Spectrum keyboard.

1 - the I2C connectivity might also solve this question - you could have a LO-RA module that supports I2C?

2 - Could be something for the future - but there are other boards already that do this (I think).

Are cheap 7 inch lcds on aliexprsss with hdmi, so could stick a pi zero onto the back of lcd with zx spectrum sd card, then just need a way of connecting your esp32 zx spectrum keyboard to the pi zero, or maybe you will have hdmi out version later on
