It would be really cool to understand if you've made provisions for the potential to emulate OTHER 8-bit systems with this hardware - or at least, have not designed yourself into a corner with some considerations. I for one love the idea of the ZX Spectrum 'out of the box' experience with this project - but I would, shortly after playing with it for a while, start to think about porting other emulators to it - my first would be Oricutron (for the Oric-1/Atmos machines) - so I'm trying to follow along and determine any gotchas for this .. your thoughts?
I hope so yes, I need to do some investigation into the certification process. But I think it's doable.

Okay, this is spooky... I was reading Chris's recent update and had exactly the same question.
That being said, given the target price, I'm happy if it would be just what it was planned to be.
