I've never had a spectrum. Although my era is right around when this was available, we never had money (nor was this available where I'm from). I owe my parents an apology for the pressure I put on them for some one of these types of computers.
Still debating about getting one or not. My friend had ZX-81 back at that time, when we were having fun at a micro computer club learning BASIC on a TRS-80 model I or II (can’t remember). The ZX spectrum came it a bit later along with the BBC atom and the Dai but then my parents got an Apple ][+. Good old times. But then I was never about the games…
So if I figure out what I could code on that (I’m quite used to the ESP32 and the S3 included, got a few modules around) then maybe I’ll take the jump…
I have been following this, as a earlier adopter when they first came out in '83 had to place a order on this replication. Amazing work Chris.. Looking forward to playing all the old classics again 😀❤️💯
